Our Story
Seeley Steam Co was born from a deep love for the wilds of Montana and the recreation and connection it brings. Founded by outdoor enthusiasts who understand the power of rest and recovery, we created a mobile sauna experience that brings authentic Finnish tradition to the heart of Montana's wilderness.
Our journey began with a simple vision: to create a space where people could slow down, reconnect with themselves and others, and experience the profound benefits of sauna culture in the stunning natural setting of Seeley Lake. We believe in the transformative power of heat, cold, and community.
With an entrepreneurial spirit, construction experience, and a passion for mindful wellness practices, Seeley Steam Co has become a reality. We're proud to serve our community and visitors to the Seeley Lake area, bringing the ancient tradition of Löyly to modern Montana.
The Sauna
At 16 feet in length, our sauna has room for it all. The hot room features multi-tier seating, a large window, a top-of-the-line Iki wood stove, and the highest quality clear grade Montana cedar. The space can comfortably seat 8 people, maybe a few more if you're okay with being cozy.
The cool down and changing room with storage, seating, and a bar top encourages natural rotation through the spaces. To complement the sauna experience and the benefits of thermocycling, we offer the addition of up to two cold plunge tubs. Large windows in both rooms allow sauna bathers to soak in their natural surroundings, whether it be mountains, lakes, rivers, or your own backyard.
